暑い。
6月で晴れてこれだから夏が思いやられるな。
今日は一日天気が持ちそうなので
籠たちと小引き出しを洗浄、天日干しをした。
気持ちが良い作業。
小引き出しはこのままでも、いい感じなのだけど塗料を剥離して白木にするか悩むところ。
塗料を剥離する作業がしたいだけかも知れないのでとりあえず乾いた頃合いに店に並べよう。
それから考えよう。
そうそう
今朝ひよりについたら89歳のひろしさんが
帽子を被らず作業をしていた。
帽子はどうしたのと尋ねたら、見つからなかったんだよー
と赤い顔していうもんだから
私の作業用の麦藁帽子と冷たい水を急いで
持っていった。つい先日も、帽子を被らず
熱中症でぶっ倒れたばかりだから、そのことが
脳裏をよぎる。
帽子を被せ、冷たい水を飲んで貰う。
「あーうまいな！」の一言で安心した。
一旦作業を止めて日陰に入って貰った。
元気にみえても89歳なんだよじーちゃん。
と、私は心の中でつぶやいた。
でもここが好きなんだもんね。
明日も来て作業をするらしい。
無理するなよじーちゃん。
明日は私はいないからね。
